Erzsébetváros, identified as the 7th district of Budapest, is situated on the Pest side of the Danube. This district was the historic Jewish quarter of Pest. Nowadays is well-known for its ruin pubs and graffiti.
Here a selection of street art images from my recent vacation in Budapest.
The majority, where painted by a local group of street artists, called Neopaint.
The Colorful City Project was started in 2008 and every year runs the Színes Város (Colorful City) Festival, a one-month-long cultural event to beautify Budapest with oversized street art by both Hungarian and international visionaries painting on huge empty walls (more info on the last edition here).
As you are going to see, (almost) all the pictures contain the information that you need: Title – AUTHOR, Location.
