Andiamo con ordine. Da dove parto?
Direi dalle mostre e vi spiego perché. Innanzitutto perché costituivano l’ambiente più tranquillo del Lucca Comics, in seconda battuta perché le ho trovate davvero di grande qualità, in terzo luogo perché detesto chi fa foto a un quadro o a un’opera, ma in questo caso ho fatto qualche piccola eccezione anch’io, laddove mi sembrava (ed effettivamente era) concesso trattenere un ricordo. Difficile dire quale fra le tante mostre sia stata quella che più mi è piaciuta e interessata, però ci provo. Direi che Cyril Pedrosa è stato l’autore che più ha catturato la mia attenzione, per i disegni, i colori e le storie. Ovviamente ho comprato Portugal che sto leggendo ogni sera religiosamente (quasi ho paura che finisca!). Impossibile non citare l’Esploratore dell’Immaginario, Enrique Breccia di cui mi son ripromessa di leggere Il Collezionista di Sogni. Chris Ayers con la sua mostra, The Daily Zoo, mi ha fatto sorridere e commuovere, pensate che il suo bestiario è nato come terapia per sopportare i lunghi giorni di malattia. D’obbligo menzionare la mostra Wonderful Divas! di Sara Pichelli e Laura Zuccheri, fumettiste italiane di grande successo che hanno curato la locandina del Lucca Comics 2012; nello slideshow potete vedere un fantastico quadro ad olio di Laura Zuccheri.Infine, la francesissima Rebecca Dautremer e le sue Petites Papiers in grado di grandi interpretazioni delle favole più classiche, nella foto, ovviamente, Alice nel Paese delle Meraviglie.
Let’s go in order. Where can I start from?
From exhibitions, I would say and I explain you why. First of all because exhibitions where the quitest place at Lucca Comics, secondly because I found them high-quality, thirdly because I hate who take pictures of paintings or similar, but in this case I made a little exception as well, when I thought it was allowed to keep a souvenir (and actually it was). I think that Cyril Pedrosa was the author who more than the others catch my attention, because of his drawings, colors and stories. Obviously I bought Portugal which I religiously read every night (I’m even worried that it’s going to the end!). Impossible not to mention the Imaginary Explorer, Enrique Breccia, whose I’ve promised to read the comic book El Sueñero. Chris Ayers made me smile and moved me with his exhibition, The Daily Zoo; just think that his bestiary was born as a terapy for the long days of illness. Mentioning Wonderful Divas! exhibition by Sara Picchelli and Laura Zuccheri is required; they are two successful Italian cartoonist who dealt with the poster of Lucca Comics 2012; in the slideshow you can see a wonderful oil painting by Laura Zuccheri. Finally, the “Frenchest” Rebecca Dautremer and her Petites Papiers able of big interpretation of the most classical fables; in the picture, obviously, Alice in the Wonderland.
